A piece wrapped in cloth or paper from one of four seasonal finishes, a handwritten card in Japanese or English, and — if you choose — up to twenty characters cut by hand into the glass itself. You'll see a photograph of the finished piece before it ships, so there's no guessing how it turned out.

You've found the right piece, but standard packaging undersells it, and a generic gift box rarely matches the occasion — a wedding, an anniversary, a retirement. Doing the wrapping and any personalization yourself takes time and tools most people don't have on hand, and a rushed finish can take the shine off an otherwise thoughtful choice.

Choose from four seasonal finishes in cloth or paper, paired with a handwritten card in the language you prefer.
Engraving
Up to twenty characters, cut by hand with a fine wheel directly into the glass or crystal surface.

From booking to a photograph in your inbox
Step one
Tell us the piece, the wording you'd like engraved, and your preferred wrapping finish.
Step two
Our engraver works by hand, then a photograph of the finished piece is sent for your review.
Step three
Once you approve, it's wrapped, packed for safe transit, and sent on its way.

Turnaround runs two to four working days depending on how long the engraving text is and how busy the workshop is that week.

The photograph you review is taken to show the engraving clearly, and we're glad to send an extra angle under a different light if you'd like to see it before giving your approval.

Because you review a photograph before dispatch, there's no risk of an engraving arriving with the wrong wording or an unexpected finish. If something isn't right in that review, we'll correct it before anything leaves the workshop.
